Visiting Honors Professor Gerd Hurm will be giving a lecture entitled "The Family of Man Returns Home: New Findings About its American (Revolutionary) Roots." Co-hosted by the Froelick Gallery on Wed. July 11th at 6:30pm at the Froelick Gallery, 714 NW Davis.

Gerd Hurm, Ph.D. is a German Fulbright scholar, Professor of American literature, and Founding Director of the Center for American Studies at the University of Trier. His publications include books and articles on modernism, urban studies, political rhetoric, and American post-war culture. His work has appeared in prestigious international journals, essay collections, and encyclopaedia, his voice has been present in major national media.
