What: Nonviolence Conference

When: Sunday, Nov 12, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. 

Where: Smith Ballroom, room 355

Conference features: 

  • - Jo Ann Hardesty on preserving and enhancing our sanctuary city in a time of white supremacist resurgence
  • - Alison Allen-Hall and Adam Vogal, Bystander Intervention and De-escalation training
  • - Parfait Bassale on creating music for movements, songs to help children learn justice-loving and conflict transformation
  • - Complimentary childcare by PSU Little Vikings for those who request it by Nov 8:
  • - FREE Breakfast and Lunch provided with gluten-free and vegetarian options. 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Tickets are required: FREE to PSU Students, Faculty & Staff / $8 General public (in advance, or at door until 10:30AM)

You can get as many free tickets as you want and there are several ways to do so: 

  • -On campus, PSU Box Office, SMSU Broadway Entrance. 
  • -On the Box office website:
  • Scroll down to Student Organized Events, click on SUN’s First Annual Nonviolence Conference, login, and go from there. 
  • -Get them free at the door day of the event, but we will only be selling them from 10:00-10:30am!! 
  • -Call box office, 503-725-3307, 9-6pm M-F, to order tickets, then they will email the ticket to you.
