Experience: Prior to joining the System of Care Institute, Molly worked for over 18 years with youth and families across a variety of settings including alternative schools, community mental health, and residential and juvenile corrections placements.  She began as a Wraparound Care Coordinator for Washington County Mental Health in 2011; she returned to school in 2013 after recognizing systemic barriers were impeding both youth and families receiving the services and supports they needed.  She is currently working toward completion of her PhD in Social Work and Social Research at Portland State University in addition to working as a trainer and consultant.  

Within her current role with the Systems of Care Institute, Molly works with individuals and communities to assist them in deepening their Wraparound practice through coaching, consultation and training.  Molly has a committed focus on strengthening supervision and coaching for Wraparound Care Coordinators across the state, as well as providing trauma informed, culturally and linguistically responsive services and supports.  Molly also works with communities to support their development, implementation, and continuous improvement of local System of Care governance structures.  

Teaching/Training/Research Areas: Wraparound, Systems of Care, Positive Youth Development, Trauma Informed Care, Facilitation, Nonviolent Communication, and Adolescent Mental Health.
