Access to Social Work Journals
Access to Social Work Journals

In the spring of 2010, social work students researched access to journals for social workers who cannot access data bases such as Social Services Abstracts and PsycINFO. It is hoped that in the future, the state will decide to invest in these two data bases for easier access to the journals that report on research and social work practice and best practices. In the mean time, some important journals relevant to social work practice are available through GALE, a data base that is easily available to all of you through your local public library.

The list of these journals follows below so you could browse the journal(s) and you can get articles as full text right on your screen suitable for printing! You might consider contacting the PSU Alumni Association as well if you are a graduate of PSU. That office does offer access to the PSU library and there is a fee involved. Check it out!

Here are the journals that you can easily find right now! We hope this will be useful to all of you.
