The Oregonian: Two singers advance to Metropolitan Opera regional auditions in Seattle

Two singers sufficiently impressed judges at the Metropolitan Opera National Council Oregon District Auditions in Portland, Sunday to advance to the regional auditions in Seattle. The singers each received $1,000 and will compete in the next round in Seattle, Jan. 27. 

Anna Viemeister, a Portland State University graduate now living in Manhattan, and Lindsay Ohse, a young artist at Portland Opera, are the winners.
