Whether you’re looking for a job now, or are preparing for graduation, don’t miss the two biggest PSU career events of the year this Tuesday and Wednesday:

  • 2nd Annual Engineering and Technology Fair, Tuesday, Feb. 14
  • All Majors Career Fair, Wednesday, Feb. 15

Both events run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Smith Memorial Student Union Ballroom.

Each has more than 50 companies whose representatives will be on hand to answer questions and connect with students and graduates.

“The employers who are coming are coming with jobs,” said Greg Flores, associate director of the PSU Career Center.  “The key to getting those jobs is being prepared and having a willingness to put yourself out there.”

Intel, Oregon’s largest private employer, which over the years has hired more than 1,000 PSU graduates, will be among the companies attending the Engineering and Technology Fair. Other companies registered for the event include Epson Portland, Inc., FM Global, Micron Technology, WebTrends and many others. Some companies will be attending both fairs.

To learn how to get ready, attend “Making the Most of the Career Fairs,” Monday, Feb. 13, from 3 to 3:30 p.m. at Room 402 University Services Building, 617 S.W. Montgomery.
