Congratulations to this year’s recipients of the Koerner Camera Film Scholarship, Julie Lew and Kaitlyn Stodola! The Koerner Camera Film Scholarship is awarded to Film Majors with an interest in cinematography, and this is the second year it has been awarded.

For Julie, who also was an intern at Koerner Camera Systems, the scholarship means that she, “can focus on my film studies this school year and keep on track with my degree. Interning at Koerner and then receiving their generous scholarship has given me amazing work opportunities and increased my confidence in my ability as a filmmaker. I am so grateful for the support of everyone at Koerner Camera.

Kaitlyn says that, “cinematography is something that I am very interested in because it is one of the defining factors which separates cinema as an art form. The fact that I can get a scholarship that will help me study cinematography more in depth is a real treat!”

Kaitlyn, Julie, and the faculty of the Film Program thank Koerner Camera Systems for their continued valuable support of our students and program!
