Dawn M. Richardson, OSHU-PSU School of Public Health faculty, in partnership with Multnomah County's Healthy Birth Initiative, has been approved for a Tier A funding award by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute to support a project to address race-based inequities in birth outcomes. The funds will be used to build a partnership of stakeholders committed to examining the adverse impacts of structural racism and advancing patient-centered outcomes research on quality prenatal and interconception care for African-American women Multnomah County.
