PSU’s School of Business Management Professors Rank High in Publishing Research: The School Ties with MIT for Publishing Research

Portland State University’s School of Business is part of a prestigious group. Its ratings in the most recent TAMUGA Ranking report (Texas A&M and University of Georgia) reveal its research in management is growing in recognition. 
  • 4th in western region for public universities
  • 6th in far west region 
  • 48th overall —  tied with MIT

“This ranking is timely, as we celebrate a new era of innovation — and pride, at The School of Business,” said Dean Cliff Allen, PSU’s Business School. “We are well-established as the flagship School in the Portland Metro area and beyond. It is rewarding to see our credibility and research recognized on the national stage.” 

Karl Miller Center East EntranceThe current rankings represents a five year collaboration between Texas A&M and University of Georgia. The rankings aggregate publications in the eight, top-tier journals in management: Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Applied Psychology, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Personnel Psychology and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes.
