Master of Taxation

The curriculum for the Master of Taxation has been co-developed with tax practitioners from both public accounting firms and corporate tax departments to equip you with the knowledge, skills and hands-on experience that will advance your career in tax.

You can earn the Master of Taxation in one year as a full-time student, or two years as a part-time student. The program starts in the summer and includes 45 credits of online courses, plus required weekend-long synchronous residencies once per quarter; in-person attendance is recommended. The Master of Taxation concludes with a capstone project based on an in-depth, real-world case study.

  • Full-time: 12 months
  • Part-time: 24 months

We also offer the flexibility of a fall program start for part-time students. Schedule an advising appointment with Julie Hackett for additional information.
