 From concept to consumer, the Athletic and Outdoor Industry Certificate program explores the unique challenges and competitive issues within the athletic and outdoor industry. Go beyond product design and sports management to examine the larger competitive industry issues in marketing, retailing, distribution, and sales.

Pop-Ups - The Proving Ground

Pop-up engagements are collaborative opportunities for industry to partner with the CRL to discover dynamic feedback for brand & products. Our goal is to educate students on the changing retail environment through the creation of a disruptive retail pop-up experience that catches the student’s eye and inspires creative solutions for real-world applications.

The pop-up space is your opportunity to have access to a vast and dynamic consumer marketplace which includes 5000+ School of Business students with diverse backgrounds and varied interests. Pop-ups are your opportunity to gain on-the-spot consumer feedback that can drive future products, packaging, and branding. Through partnering with the CRL you will have access to additional resources, including marketing and internal promotional support, space design, and event management. This 500 sq. ft space, located in downtown Portland is your opportunity to build your brand’s presence and awareness in our innovative, growing community.
