Kay Abramowitz, a partner at Ater Wynne LLP, and Linda Williams, president of Washington Trust Bank's Oregon region, have joined the PSU Foundation Board of Directors

"We are delighted to welcome Kay and Linda to the Portland State University Foundation board," said Portland State University President Wim Wiewel. "They both bring a wealth of expertise in their fields and a deep commitment to our community that will support PSU's highest priorities as we move forward."

Abramowitz (pictured left) has more than 27 years of experience providing counsel to individuals and business owners on asset protection and wealth preservation through estate planning, estate and trust administration, entity formation, and business planning. Her special focus is in advising family-owned businesses.

Williams (pictured right), a senior executive at Washington Trust Bank, has a leadership background in all phases of private and commercial banking, as well as local community affairs. She has a strong commitment to civic and philanthropic organizations in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

The PSU Foundation is an independent tax-exempt organization that enhances the development of Portland State University (PSU) through relationships, resources, and guidance. Gifts to the Foundation advance PSU by providing scholarships for outstanding students, supporting faculty research and instruction, and enhancing facilities and program development and growth.

Members are selected for their business, civic, and philanthropic leadership, their professional expertise, their ability to provide representation from a broad spectrum of community interests, and their commitment to the advancement of PSU. Abramowitz and Williams will serve three-year terms on the volunteer board.
