Adaptive Rec changes name to Inclusive Rec

Campus Rec is excited to announce that the Adaptive Rec and Community Service program has changed its name to Inclusive Rec and Community Service. This transition will better distinguish the program for its versatility in providing comprehensive inclusive opportunities for PSU faculty, staff and students of all abilities. In addition to Inclusive programming, all areas of Campus Rec will continue to offer adaptations to meet the needs of Rec Center members. Some of the programs, sports and activities that participants can look forward to this year include sit volleyball, goalball, wheelchair basketball, adaptive climbing, inclusive outdoor trips, fitness classes and more. Additionally, the program will offer community service opportunities each term that will give participants the chance to give back with their time to deserving organizations. Please also join us on September 21, 2011 for the Inclusive Rec and Community Service Open House from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM in ASRC 440 and learn about all the new and existing programs you can look forward to this year, ask questions, meet the Inclusive staff and current program participants and enjoy food and raffle prizes!
