Sridevi Nair is Assistant Professor in the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program at PSU. She has a joint Ph.D. in English and Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan. Her research engages representations of gender and sexuality in the context of globalization, with a particular focus on South Asia, and its diaspora. Her current work includes two separate projects: one, an article-length study of liberal white masculinity; and two, a proposed manuscript on South Asian elderly and globalization.
