16th Annual World Beat Festival

Riverfront Park - Salem, OR

Taste ethnic foods; listen to music and discussion from around the world; see performances from Africa, Asia and Europe; and have your children explore the kids’ activity tents and collect passport stamps from every continent. Discover that our neighbors and friends come from all over the world and live right here in our community. The World Beat Festival is Salem’s most vital expression of who we are, and contributes significantly to our community success.

Visit the Middle East Tent sponsored by the Middle East Studies Center and the Arab American Cultural Center of Oregon.

The World Beat Festival is a program of the Salem Multicultural Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting an appreciation and understanding of the cultural diversity in our community. For more information, visit
