The Summer Institute on Youth Mentoring (SIYM)
The Summer Institute on Youth Mentoring (SIYM) is an intensive week-long seminar that promotes direct dialogue between researchers and a competitively selected group of advanced mentoring professionals from around the country. The theme of the SIYM will be the mentoring of youth with child welfare or juvenile justice system contact. There has been strong interest from both practitioners and researchers on this topic, and it is clearly relevant for policy and programs for state and federal agencies.
