The YWCA's Yolanda House is an emergency shelter and service program for women survivors of domestic or sexual violence and their children. The overarching goal of Yolanda House is to help domestic violence survivors and their children to stabilize their lives and begin to heal, rebuild independence, and avoid subsequent abuse. PSU students partner with the Yolanda House to meet goals and objectives for community-based practicum focusing on domestic violence and supportive services for children.
