Ariana Chiapella

Ariana Chiapella is a PhD Candidate at the Aquatic Ecology Lab (http://aquaticecologylab.weebly.com/) who studies the intersection of mercury deposition and historical fish stocking in mountain lake food webs, and the implications of these stressors for management. She is a NSF Graduate Research Program Fellow, an IGERT fellow, and collaborates with the USGS and National Parks Service. Ariana also spent a year abroad at the WasserCluster Lunz research station in Lunz am See, Austria as part of NSF's Graduate Research Opportunities Worldwide (GROW) program.
