Hi! My name is Andrew Mankowski. I received my Bachelors of Science in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences and Portuguese from the University of Wisconsin in 2007. Upon completion of my undergraduate degree I spent time working with a private weather company in Madison, WI. I have also spent time in Brazil working with poverty stricken youth in Rio de Janeiro and exploring the Amazon River basin near Manaus.
I am currently in pursuit of my MST and my teacher’s license through the GTEP with endorsements in middle school and high school integrated science. My research interest involves incorporating interactive technology in the classroom as a way to create more student engagement and learning.
