Advisory Councils

President Shoureshi is seeking nominations for three Advisory Councils. These councils will meet once per term with President Shoureshi to advise on such issues as:

  • Student Success
  • Engagement
  • Institutional Challenges

President’s Staff Advisory Council
The President’s Staff Advisory Council is made up of SEIU represented classified staff, AAUP represented Academic Professionals, and Unclassified/Unrepresented staff members. The advisory council will provide the president input on initiatives he proposes and other issues of importance to the university. Membership is for the academic year and meets once a term over the lunch-hour. Membership will be made up of nominees from all university-level divisions. The President’s Student Advisory Council is made up of undergraduate and graduate students in good standing. The advisory council will provide the president input on initiatives he proposes and other issues of importance to the university.
