What's the procedure for challenging the Population Research Center's population estimates?

City officials can challenge the PRC's preliminary estimates between mid-November and December 15 by contacting Risa Proehl, Estimates Program Manager, with your request. You will be asked to submit detailed data to support your challenge.

There is another review period which occurs after the estimates are certified on December 15. This second review period provides an opportunity for cities or counties to compile their supporting data and documents if the first review period was not sufficient.
