Wildlife Distribution Modelling

The Institute for Natural Resources' Oregon Biodiversity Information Center has been developing range and distribution maps for Oregon wildlife species for many years. One of the initial efforts, still ongoing, was the Gap Analysis Project. We have retained these GAP pages here as a reference, though newer products are available.

The latest wildlife distribution products and other wildlife information from INR are available from the Oregon Wildlife Explorer. Here you can search for information on Oregon's vertebrate wildlife species and view the most up to date distribution maps. Go to the Oregon Wildlife Viewer to search for species information and distribution maps.
