Seeking Peer Health Educators for 2014-15 Academic Year

The Center for Student Health and Counseling's (SHAC) Health Promotion Department is excited to announce the creation of SHAC's first Peer Health Education Team. This team will consist of 4-6 student Peer Health Educators. Peer Health Educators are responsible for talking to their peers about healthy lifestyle choices. Topics may include stress management, sleep hygiene, body image, nutrition, fitness, tobacco cessation, sexual health, alcohol safety, etc. Visit if you want more information or want to apply for the 2014-15 Academic Year, starting Fall 2014. Applications are due by May 9, 2014 at 5 p.m. The position is intended to be a year-long appointment, with students working 10 hours a week. The wage range is $9.50-10.50 an hour.
