PCRE Projects

At any given time, the departments within PCRE are working on multiple projects.  A selection of current and recent projects are listed below:

Campus Recreation 

The expansion of the Campus Recreation Center in the Academic and Student Recreation Center. This project was completed in Summer 2015.

Collaborative Life Sciences Building

A collaborative effort between OHSU, OSU and PSU, this project has created a state of the art facility for life sciences, research and teaching. The building provides a home for part of PSU's Chemistry and Biology Departments.

Fourth Avenue Building 

Two projects in the Fourth Avenue Building - the replacement of a 500 ton chiller and the addition of a new heat recovery chiller; and the relocation of the Graduate School of Education.

Fourth and Montgomery Building 

This project will create a new home for the Graduate School of Education and create a partnership with City of Portland, Portland Community College and a major educational non-profit organization. Green Revolving Fund

The creation of a fund that supports energy reduction and climate action goals while advancing PSU’s leadership in sustainable practices.

Karl Miller Center 

An addition to the School of Business Administration and modernization of the existing building.  Construction on this project began during Summer 2015 and will be completed in Summer 2017. Click to view a one page summary of the project.

Lincoln Station

In collaboration with TriMet, PSU is conducting a study of the Lincoln Station Area, seeking strategies for encouraging transit oriented development at nearby sites, including University Place.

Neuberger Hall

PSU is undertaking a major renovation of Neuberger Hall.  The project is scheduled to break ground in January 2018 and be completed in 2019. Click to view a one page summary of the project.

Peter Stott Center
