Watch List Species

Watch list species are those invasive aquatic plants and animals that are either not present in the waters of Oregon or whose distribution in Oregon waters is unknown or of concern. High priority species should be reported immediately to the Lake Watch Coordinators.

Please use the menu on the left to navigate through our aquatic plant and aquatic animal watch lists. Further identification materials are provided for volunteers under the "Information for OLW Volunteers" tab above.

Volunteers who come across invasive species should contact OLW Lake Watch Coordinators. If you come across invasive species not as part of your Lake Watch volunteer efforts or you are not a volunteer you may also call 1-877-STOP ANS to report high priority species discovery. Non-high priority species reports may be submitted to the Oregon Invasives Hotline
