Our PSU office had a break-in over the weekend and two laptops were stolen. What should we do?

First, contact the Campus Safety Office (5-4407) to file an Incident Report (include address, time, description of stolen equipment, inventory number(s), serial number(s), replacement cost(s) of stolen item(s.)) Second, contact the Risk Management Office (5-3441) to file a claim. PSU equipment insurance deductible is $2500, so the total amount to be submitted in the reimbursement claim is the replacement amount invoiced to PSU minus the insurance deductible. Third, contact the Property Control Clerk (5-3109) to update inventory records for stolen items.
