Wireless Machine Authentication

At Portland State University, wireless machine authentication takes place whenever a computer with Wi-Fi is powered on to provide a persistent wireless connection. Additionally, wireless machine authentication keeps users on the PSU network even after changing Odin passwords, facilitates faster logins, and ensures Remote Assistance (Bomgar) can continue even if the machine is logged out.

Wireless machine authentication is automatic for all PSU-owned machines. Users do not need to do anything for it to be set up.
