Google Sites Workshop

The Office of Information Technology provides training for many aspects of using Google Sites. A full description of the workshop can be found below.

Description: Learn how to use Google Sites to create and manage websites. Everyone at PSU has access to this user-friendly site management tool at Open to everyone at PSU.

This workshop is an intro to Google Sites. Google Sites is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) platform, meaning that no knowledge of coding is required to design a website. Some of the topics covered will include:

  • Plan your site
  • Create a site: choose a theme
  • Add content
    • Text
    • Links (open in new window)
    • Images
    • Videos
    • Content from other Google Apps: Docs/Drive, Calendars...
  • Share your site
  • Manage your site
