Janet Cowal, Applied Linguistics faculty, and Maude Hines, English faculty and co-founder of PSU’s Homelessness Research and Action Collaborative (HRAC), presented a paper (co-author Wendy Nuttleman, Applied Linguistics graduate student) on their multidisciplinary work titled “The Semiotics of Homelessness: a Preliminary Report from PSU’s Homelessness Research and Action Collaborative” on October 11, 2019 at the 44th Semiotics Society of America Annual Conference held this year in Portland, Oregon.
