School of Architecture announces new 3-year Master of Architecture track

Portland State University's School of Architecture is pleased to announce a new three-year track of its professional Master of Architecture degree. This new option is open to candidates who hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline other than architecture. In parallel to the two-year degree, the educational experience of the three-year Master of Architecture is inspired by the poetics of materials and the communication of cultural meaning; speculations on the pleasures and dilemmas of contemporary city dwelling; and the potential of architecture to promote social transformation through practices directed toward the common good. 

The School is currently accepting applications for the two-year M.Arch (application review begins February 1) and the three-year M.Arch (applications will be reviewed beginning March 1), to start in Fall 2014, and Summer 2014, respectively. Application information can be found at
