As Oregon Consensus Director, Peter oversees conflict resolution services, program development, and staff. He leads consensus-seeking projects that help groups resolve complex policy issues. He also teaches collaborative governance to students and professionals.  

Peter previously worked as a senior Project Manager for Oregon Consensus, and before that, as a Senior Associate for Kearns and West mediation firm in Portland. He served in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, as program developer for the Association for a More Just Society, and taught at the International School. Peter has a master's degree in international development from Tulane University in New Orleans and a bachelor's degree in environmental studies and international development with a minor in Spanish from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
