Online voting has started with a new list of candidates in the election of leaders for the Associated Students of Portland State University (ASPSU).

Go here to vote by 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 6. Results will be announced on Friday, May 8.

Four students are running for president: Kaitlyn Verret, Kyle Sallee, Andy Mayer and Dana Ghazi. All the candidates and a voter pamphlet are on the ASPSU website.

The Judicial Review Board decided to reset the election after an earlier candidate for president was disqualified because he did not meet the requirements. The board then reopened the nominating process to allow new candidates to run and give students a complete ballot.

President Wim Wiewel sent out a message last week notifying all students, faculty and staff of the reset and urged students to become informed about the candidates and vote in the election.
