Reorganization in the Office of the Registrar

The Registrar’s Office (RO) has undergone a bit of reorganization since the July departure of Chris Hart, the previous Registration & Records manager. We spent some time evaluating the office needs and took the opportunity to strategically realign some functions and adjust staff responsibilities in order to more effectively serve the needs of our student, faculty and staff customers.

Nicolle Nixon DuPont (right) has a new title of Associate Registrar, Registration & Operations. She has responsibility for the broad areas of Registration & Records and also oversees the Residency area and the RO office-wide website and communication work. Nicolle has worked in our unit for over 10 years serving in a variety of leadership roles, giving her broad and deep experience, knowledge and expertise relevant to her new role.

Rossella De Leon (left) will now serve as the official Residency Officer for PSU and will be replacing Nicolle as the representative to the OUS Residency Council. Rosella will have a variety of additional responsibilities, which include managing legal requests for records and providing onboarding support for new employees within the unit. Her new title is Residency Officer & Records Administrator.

In addition to their experience/expertise, both women are dedicated to delivering high quality service to students, faculty and staff. Please join me in congratulating and welcoming them to their new roles.

Thanks to all for your patience as we worked through this transition. As always, please let me or Nicolle know if you have any questions or if you want to discuss any service needs with us.
