The 2016 PSU Bike Challenge is almost here!

This friendly, month-long challenge is designed to encourage the Portland State University community to bike more during the month of May.

How it Works:

Students and employees participate on teams, based on their college/department, to see who can get the most riders to log their trips between May 1-31. Each trip logged will be entered into a weekly raffle to win some great prizes including goods from Giro helmets, Portland Design Works, and Raleigh bicycle. In fact, we're giving away a FREE Raleigh bike every Friday!

Points will be awarded based on team and individual stats and at the end of the month we'll host an Awards Party to congratulate participants who were winners in a variety of categories.

How to Compete:

  • Visit www.psubikechallenge.com to register with your pdx.edu email address
  • Ride your bike anywhere (for at least 10 minutes) in the month of May
  • Record your ride on the website or app (automatic syncing available with other GPS-enabled apps)
  • Score points to win prizes for yourself and your team

We’ll be starting things off on Monday, May 2nd:

  • Biker Breakfast: 8-10:00 am (between Cramer Hall and Lincoln Hall, on Broadway)
  • Kick-Off Party: 12:30 pm in the PSU Urban Plaza

Join us in the morning for some FREE breakfast including Einstein Bros. bagels, Olé Latte coffee, and KIND Snacks breakfast bars. Then stop by the Urban Plaza later on where we'll be handing out Ben & Jerry's ice cream and you can enter the raffle to win a brand new Raleigh bicycle!
