The School of Social Work has been Changing Lives, and Changing Communities for nearly 50 years.  As the first graduate program offered by Portland State University, and the only graduate level Social Work education program in Oregon, SSW also offers undergraduate programs in Child and Family Studies, and a Bachelors of Arts in Social Work.  Graduate programs include a Masters in Social Work, and a Ph.D. in Social Work and Social Research. 

The School of Social Work also includes the Regional Research Institute, the Center for Services to Children and Families, the Child Welfare Partnership, and Reclaiming Futures, a national RWJ project to serve youth who have become involved in juvenile justice.
