Time-travel to early 20th-century Paris and live for a few brief moments in the world of the great French composer, Francis Poulenc. Students, faculty and guest artists perform music by Poulenc and his contemporaries, and celebrate the poetry, painting and theater created during one of the most fascinating periods of Western art. Presented with the participation of Alliance Française Portland.

Francis Poulenc was a prominent artist of the early 20th century, part of the thriving art and music scene in Paris. He associated with luminaries like Jean Cocteau, André Breton, Guillaume Apollinaire, Erik Satie, and others who were fundamental to creating modern art as we know it.
