The Middle East Studies Center is excited to continue its monthly lecture series. This May, Dr. GhaneaBassiri will present "Religion and State of Muslim America," to discuss the current status of Islam and its religious communities within the United States.

Dr. GhaneaBassiri is a Religion and Humanities professor at Reed College who specializes in religious diversity in the United States and the intellectual and social history of Islam. All are welcome to join this free event as well as enjoy the music and food presented prior to the lecture.
