About the Lecture
As part of International Education Week 2019, the Middle East Studies Center's Graduate Assistant, Adriane Bolliger is is sharing her experiences interning in Kuwait this past summer.
Adriane will share photos and stories from her time overseas, which include interning for eight weeks at the American University of Kuwait, and traveling to Egypt, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates to explore the diversity of North Africa and the Persian Gulf.
About the Speaker
Adriane Bolliger is the Graduate Assistant for the Middle East Studies Center. She is finishing up her graduate program in Public Administration with a focus in Global Leadership and Management at Portland State University (expected December 2019). After graduating from the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in International Studies, Adriane worked for AMIDEAST in Tunisia and Morocco in 2011 supporting English language programs. After returning to the US, she continued working in educational program development and outreach.
