This September, 246 new MBA, MSFA, MIM, and Health Care Management MBA students came to PSU's Graduate Programs Orientation. Students prepared for the school year, learned about career advising and resources, and heard from recent graduate business alumni. During the new student orientation, Net Impact led the students to the Bella Organic Farm on Sauvie Island for a volunteer project. Students worked with Seed the Farm Organics, building a green house and cultivating projects on their ½ acre plot. Bella Organic Farm is a 100 acre USDA Organic certified farm whose goal is to promote responsible farming practices. Growing a variety of produce and products that are available for U-pick, We-pick, wholesale and retail markets, they also rent out land shares to individuals and groups who would like to grow organically.
