Faculty interested in community-engaged scholarship (CES) are invited to apply to participate in the 2018 Portland State University Community-Engaged Scholarship Collaborative.

Twelve to fifteen faculty will be selected, and will engage in a four-month learning collaborative to build knowledge, develop competencies, create either a product of CES or a dossier documenting CES, develop expertise in conducting peer review of CES, and build community with other PSU faculty with shared scholarly approaches.

The Collaborative will be facilitated by Dr. Sherril Gelmon, Professor in the OHSU & PSU School of Public Health and Senior Consultant with CES4Health, who is recognized internationally for her expertise in CES.

Interested faculty may visit the OAI Community-based Learning website for more information and complete the application by November 29th; participants will be confirmed by December 12th. For further information, contact the Office of Academic Innovation.
