Post-Bac Credits

Prior to admission into the MA TESOL program, post-bac students are allowed to take up to 16 credits in Linguistics that are transferable applied to the Master's degree. More information on transfer pre-admission transfer credit can be found here:

Funding Graduate Studies

Financial aid is distributed by the Financial Aid Office.  MA TESOL students are welcomed to apply for a Teaching Assistantships and/or the Nattinger Endowed Scholarship. Applications are due no later than February 1st of each year.

Information Sessions

Prospective students are invited to attend an information session led by the Department Chair to informally discuss the MA TESOL Program.

Prospective Student Advising

Direct general questions about the MA TESOL Program to the Department Administration.
Before starting coursework, advising questions are answered by the Chair of Applied Linguistics. Enrolled graduate students are assigned a faculty advisor based on their interests.
