David Potter, 2006 B.A. in Applied Linguistics is a 2017 PhD candidate in Applied Linguistics at Northwestern University. David's research interests include: 

  • Theoretical and experimental syntax, semantics and their interface

  • Human sentence processing
  • Ellipsis and sharing coordination construcions (e.g., gapping, ATB movement, right node raising)

David will be defending his dissertation on The Island (In)sensitivity of Stripping on July 26th, 2017.
