Congressman David Wu visits ITS lab
Congressman Wu became the first member of Congress to visit the Intelligent Transportation Systems Lab during a tour of the Portland State University campus. The Congresswan was briefed on the lab's
activities, met a number of the students, and was very interested in
the lab's key research effort - the PORTAL transportation data archive.
Congressman Wu's efforts have been critical to the designation of
Portland State University (in partnership with UO, OSU, and OIT) as a
National University Transportation Center.
