The Oregon Entrepreneurs Network’s Angel Oregon program has picked five finalists for its spring investment. They’ve weathered three rounds of cuts so far, and face another on March 31 when the field will be narrowed to three. A winner will be named April 7.
OEN hasn't said how much the winner will receive, but the organization has historically raised between $200,000 and $300,000 for the award.
All the finalists will present at Angel Oregon’s spring showcase April 16 at the Governor Hotel in Portland.
The finalists are:
Arria Live Media (Hillsboro): Professional audio systems with less expensive hardware and less complexity.
Energy Storage Systems (Portland): Environmentally friendly battery technology.
HoneyComb Corp. (Wilsonville): Aerial drones to make farming more efficient and productive.
Nouvola (Portland): Analytics for cloud computing.
Trek Global (Vancouver): Business software to improve inventory management.
