MA TESOL INFO Sessions
Information Sessions about the department’s MA TESOL degree program are held regularly during the school year and at least twice during the summer.
Topics covered include:
•The difference between a TESOL/TESL/TEFL certificate and an MA in TESOL
•Employment options and opportunities in the US and abroad for individuals holding an MA TESOL degree
•The focus and structure of PSU’s MA TESOL program
•The admissions process and deadlines, including information on entry as a post-bac student and admission for applicants whose first language is not English
•The foreign language requirement
•Advising about which courses to start with
•Scholarships and Teaching Assistantships
Sessions generally last about 1½ hours or until all questions are answered.The next information session will be held
