Teaching, Learning, and Engagement Associate

Jennifer Alkezweeny has dedicated her career to education and civic engagement. She has extensive experience supporting the development and institutionalization of civic engagement programs, including providing professional development opportunities for faculty, capacity-building opportunities for community partner organizations, and co-curricular service opportunities for students. She has taught at two and four year institutions, coached programs and faculty nationally, and directed college access programming supporting underrepresented students. Since 2001, Jennifer has volunteered at the Dougy Center for Grieving Children and Families. In her free time she can be found kayaking local lakes and rivers and hopes to soon be living in a floating home. She holds a BA in Communication from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a MS in Communication from Portland State University.
