Where to Stay

There are myriads of options for lodging in Downtown Portland and adjacent neighborhoods on both sides of the river. For hotels that are closest to conference location, please review your options below. There is also an abundance of alternative options like rentals through Airbnb, Tiny House Hotel, and bed and breakfasts.

We recommend that you secure a room as soon as possible as rooms go fast during the summer time.

Budget option:

The Broadway Building
During the summer season, PSU opens up some of its dorms for conference housing. The rate is very affordable and probably the lowest that you will find in Downtown area. Please note that these rooms are more basic than average hotel rooms, but have some amenities and is only a few blocks from Smith Memorial Student Union.

Rate: $58/night or $29/night if you split the cost with someone as it is a double room. If you already have a roommate that you'd like to share the room with, each person should indicate their roommate's name and select the '2-person studio' option on the Housing page. If you don't indicate a name, they will pair you up with someone who is unassigned. If you don't want a roommate, select '1-person studio'.
