Best Value: The Broadway dorm-style lodging

Dorm-style on-campus housing is available and will provide you with the most affordable option. All rooms are doubles. A double room is $68/night or $34/night if you share the double room. In order to offer this affordable option, IBPI has committed to a set number of rooms for each summer workshop. Therefore, we ask that you reserve your room as soon as possible so that we know that we have met the minimum required.

How do I get to downtown or Portland State University from the airport?

By light rail:
Portland’s light rail runs from the airport to downtown Portland.  MAX trains depart from the airport every 15 minutes on weekdays. Weekend trains run less frequently; every 20-25 minutes. Trains depart the airport from 5am to 11:45pm. Passes can be purchased at the vending machines inside the airport.
 
To Downtown:  Take the RED line MAX light rail train (toward Portland City Center & Beaverton TC).
To PSU:  Once downtown, get off at the Mall/SW 5th Ave MAX Station. Transfer to the GREEN line MAX at Pioneer Courthouse Square/SW 5th Ave (toward City Center/PSU). Get off at PSU/5th & Mill St.
