KMC 480 is easily accessed via the Skybridge to Karl Miller Center between
Cramer Hall and Smith Memorial Student Union. It is the first classroom on the left as you enter.

 

We will watch the famous 25-minute Twilight Zone episode "Number Twelve Looks Just Like You" (1963) and discuss the problems it suggests about private and public memory, the persistence of personal identity through historical change, the power of historical documentation, the suppression of the past, social control of personality and thought, and many other issues.

 

BENNETT GILBERT teaches history and philosophy in University Studies at PSU and is the author of A Personalist Philosophy of History (2019) and of papers on personhood in Western intellectual and social history.
