Corbett Oak & SW Portland

In this episode, we present a brief history of the 200 year old Corbett Oak, Heritage Tree #179. This White Oak witnessed Southwest Portland’s first land claims in the 1800’s and nearly became a casualty of redevelopment efforts in the 1980s. This podcast is an abridged version of a research paper written by Kira Lesley.
